Skillet Mac & Cheese

Restaurant style Skillet Mac & Cheese is super super easy to make! In fact, you can probably make it in the same amount of time as you’d make a box of Kraft!

Skillet Mac & Cheese

Servings 6

Ingredients

  • 2 Cups Elbow Macaroni Noodles
  • 3 Tbsp Unsalted Butter
  • 3 Tbsb Flour
  • 3 Cups Half-and-half
  • 1 Lbs Velveeta (Half a block)
  • Ground Pepper
  • Shredded Cheddar Cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to box instructions. Add olive oil to the water to prevent pasta from sticking.

  2. Melt four tablespoons of butter in a cast iron skillet.

  3. Mix in three tablespoons of flour into the flour.

  4. Mix in three cups of half-and-half and bring to a boil.

  5. After half-and-half is boiling, reduce heat and stir. Add in half a block of Velveeta cheese (cubed).

  6. After cheese is melted, stir in pasta. Add ground black pepper to taste.

  7. Bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes.

  8. Broil for a few minutes to brown cheese on top.

  9. Garnish if you want.
